The release date for the first Spider-Man DLC called The City That Never Sleeps has been revealed, with the initial expansion available on Oct. 23rd.
Let's start with everyone's favourite web-slinger, Spider-Man. Peter Parker was one of the first post-launch characters to be revealed by Square Enix, but there's bad news for anyone playing on PC. Like Spider-Man vs. Kingpin, Web of Fire isn’t just about punching people and instead includes some wall-crawling and web-slinging. And it includes a nice list of Marvel characters, like fan-favorite Daredevil and Dragonman, a real character from the comics that I didn’t just make up. Well, for now, Spider-Man is only confirmed for PS4 and is not coming out on PC, Nintendo Switch or Xbox One. But what of the future? As it's a license not owned by Sony, it's entirely possible that Sony may only have a temporary exclusive, like with the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy. You will be happy to know that this AAA Playstation 4 exclusive is fully playable on PC with good frame-rate and graphics. You can expect a decent performance while running this game at 4k resolution.
PlayStation shared the news of the DLC’s release date Tuesday with a PlayStation Blog post that detailed what’s in The City That Never Sleeps. The DLC consists of three different chapters, with the first becoming available in October while the rest of the content will be released throughout the following months. The first chapter, called The Heist, features Black Cat and has more missions, challenges, enemies, and suits.

Featuring new missions and challenges, as well as a brand new faction of enemies and three additional suits to unlock, you won’t want to miss it.”
While the first chapter in the DLC has a firm release date, the other two don’t yet and are just scheduled to come out sometime in the following months. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars will be out in November, with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining following that chapter in December.
The PlayStation Store has been updated to include a listing for the DLC that’s currently priced at $24.99, a price that includes all three chapters. Each chapter can be bought separately for $9.99 as they’re available, but the DLC is also bundled into the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game that comes with preorder content and a physical collectible. The PlayStation Store listing doesn’t offer any more details on the future chapters though, with messages asking players to come back later for more information on the rest of the DLC.

As for DLC beyond The City That Never Sleeps, Insomniac Games said that nothing has been announced yet. The developers added on Twitter that the DLC isn’t finished yet, and responded to concerns from players who criticized the idea of promoting DLC prior to the game’s launch and releasing it months after the game becomes available.

Lots of people have been asking will Spider-Man Miles Morales be on PS4 or is it a PS5 exclusive, and everyone thought they had the answer before Sony recently changed the chess board.
Sony said that they had no interest in making their next-gen games backwards compatible with the current-gen due to believing in generations. This and other facets resulted in people believing that every next-gen exclusive from them would not be available on the current-gen.
However, we have only just learned that Spider-Man Miles Morales will be on the PS4 come November 12th along with the PS5 as a launch title.
The game isn’t exclusive to the next-generation, but there is an Ultimate Edition which provides a discount for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.
If you purchase it on PS4, there will be a free upgrade available for when you make the move to PS5. However, this is only applicable if you purchase a digital copy of the game rather than a physical one.

Yesterday’s PS5 reveal event was a fantastic outing as we saw a lot of incredible reveals such as Resident Evil 8, a new Ratchet and Clank, and – most surprisingly – the futuristic console itself. While the event officially started with GTA 5, Spider-Man Miles Morales was another early banger that wowed Sony fans. However, people are unsure about whether it will be on PS4 or if it’s just a PS5 exclusive.
Aside from the star of the hit Multiverse movie back in 2018, Sony also revealed another exclusive from a hit IP of theirs in the form of Horizon Zero Dawn 2 (officially titled Horizon 2: Forbidden West). We unfortunately didn’t get to see a whole lot of Aloy’s next adventure, but Sony loyalists undoubtedly have a lot to look forward to with Ratchet and Clank, Horizon Zero Dawn 2, and another web-slinging adventure being just the beginning.

Spider-Man Miles Morales PS5 release date
The release date for Spider-Man Miles Morales on PS5 is Holiday 2020.
This is the same release window as the PS5 console itself, so it’s possible that Spider-Man Miles Morales will launch on the very same day as Sony’s next-gen system.
Some fans are confused about whether the title is an expansion upon Peter Parker’s outing in 2018 or whether it’s a full-blown sequel.

Is Spider-Man Miles Morales coming to PS4?
Spider-Man Miles isn’t announced to be coming to PS4 (update: Spider-Man Miles Morales is confirmed to be coming to PS4 as well as PS5).
The game has only been announced for PS5 which means that Spider-Man Miles Morales will not be on PS4.
